Heating and air conditioning
Heating and air-conditioning installations for buildings and production areas.
Heating and air conditioning are judged on two things: whether they hold the temperature at the worst conditions, and what it costs to hold it the rest of the time. The second is often ignored at the sizing stage and paid for twenty years afterwards.
We work on office and public buildings, production halls and warehouses.
Service description
We design and build heating and air-conditioning installations for office and public buildings, production halls and warehouses. The scope covers the heat source, the distribution network, the terminal units and the automatic control.
Sizing is done against two criteria, not one. The first is whether the installation will hold the set temperature at the worst outdoor conditions. The second — what it will cost to hold it the rest of the time, when the load is partial. Systems sized only to the first criterion run at full output in the shoulder seasons too, and are paid for twenty years ahead.
That is why hydraulic balancing and zoned control are not extras. An unbalanced installation means some rooms overheated, others cold, and a pump working for nothing.
We work with radiator and underfloor heating, heat pumps, VRF and conventional air-conditioning installations, substations and heat exchange units. Maintenance is seasonal — cleaning heat exchangers and filters, checking the controls and the settings.
